Yeah, I believe I was first :) But with only two thousand odd possible votes for the newport-on-tay exchange I don't hold out much hope :(

Thanks for bringing this to our attention.48 votes now. I've just voted but have read we would need a minimum of 1000 votes to qualify. Can anyone think of a good way of publicizing this around Newport as if we were to reach 1000 we would stand a good chance of winning, as it is calculated as proportion against the size of the exchange. Posters in coffee shops? Handout leaflets?

I vaguely remember some people running a campaign when BT did similar for ADSL, can't remember what they did though. It may have been posters in the shops and notice boards or it may have been flyers through doors. I also can't remember if we get ADSL because we got enough votes to get it despite being a small exchange or if it was BT giving in to pressure to roll it out to almost all exchanges.
